Detailed steps
Open X and go to Settings
Open X, open the side menu, then go to Settings and privacy.

Confirm your account
X may ask for your password, email code, or two-factor code before it lets you request the archive.
Request the archive
Tap the request button and wait for X to prepare the ZIP file. This can take a while for older or larger accounts.

When X says the archive is ready, download the full ZIP file. Do not unzip it before uploading.
Upload the ZIP to followreport
Drop the X archive ZIP into followreport. Your browser reads the follower and following files locally.
Common questions
How long does the X archive take?
Usually minutes to hours, but large accounts can take longer. X notifies you when it is ready.
Do I need to unzip the archive?
No. Upload the ZIP exactly as X gives it to you.
Is this private?
Yes. Free analysis runs in your browser. The ZIP is not uploaded to followreport.
Why do I see X user IDs instead of handles?
Some X archives store follower and following relationships as account IDs. followreport can still compare them accurately and link each ID to its X profile.
